There are two magnificent events in Scarborough over the next two weekends – kicking off the summer on the North Yorkshire coast in fine style.
This weekend, Saturday and Sunday 20th/21st June, sees the Oliver’s Mount Barry Sheene Festival taking place just a few minutes from the town centre. As the name suggests, the festival is a must for motorcycle fans and a great tribute to motorcycle legend Barry Sheene – who said Oliver’s Mount was his favourite circuit.
The Oliver’s Mount races draw huge crowds, attracted by the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the world’s greatest motorbike riders.
Of course, we might be biased, but really, there’s only one way to round off a great day’s motor racing, and that’s with a fantastic East Coast Kitchen meal. We cater to all tastes and appetites – though the hungrier you are, the better!
The following weekend, The Scarborough Armed Forces Day 2015 is taking place on 27th June and is shaping up to be a majestic tribute to Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. There will be air, sea and ground displays taking place in the town, alongside loads of other attractions and activities.
Again, when you’ve finished paying tribute to our forces, why not head up the hill to East Coast Kitchen? We are everyone’s favourite Scarborough restaurant, and do the best burgers, ribs, wings, pulled pork and slaw in town: ECK is the perfect way to round off a weekend of commemoration.
We’re expecting both these weekends to be busy at East Coast Kitchen – while we aim to accommodate as many walk-ins as possible, it’s always worth booking to avoid disappointment. Call us now on 01723 377290 to book your table.
See you soon!
